Undertook development of industrial light fittings for major projects including road tunnels in Hong Kong and military runways in Malta and UK. The products needed to be reliable under demanding environmental conditions.
The designs were done for a UK based company and manufacturing was done in Belgium.

Sydney Harbour Bridge
The inroad lighting system developed for the Sydney Harbour Bridge to manage the daily changes in Traffic volume and direction over the bridge. Developed with Philips Lighting Australia team.

Sydney Harbour Bridge
An special illuminated in-road cats eye was developed and placed along the centerlines of the six lanes. These were switched several times per day to mark the changing line of traffic direction. Design problems included vibration, shortening lamp life, hydraulic pressure of water on rainy days and regulations concerning bridge modifications.

The design of the system represented one of the most challenging traffic control design problems ever undertaken internationally in an environment with demanding safety, weather, traffic volume and cost problems to solve. The Bridge is a cultural icon much loved by Australians.
