Curedale Inc are always looking for bright, talented, creative designers and design interns to join our team.
Email us your portfolio and resume if you have the skills and background outlined below. The format should be one pdf file containing both resume and portfolio no greater than 5 mg.
An ideal candidate will posses strong design and verbal communication skills, work well with a team,organized, take initiative and can handle a fast paced environment and work well to deadlines. Past experience in designing consumer electronics and system furniture is desirable!
Experience
3+ years past experience in consumer electronics and office or system furniture design preferred
Detailing components
Working with local and Asian based manufacturers
Working with interior designers and architects and mechanical engineers
Knowledge
Materials, processes and finishes
Ergonomic theory
Product and furniture design history
Color theory
Activities
Create design presentations for customer and
engineering review - in sketch, computer model, scale model and/or full-scale prototype.
Specific Skills
Qualifications
3+ year degree in industrial design
Skills
Fast sketching skills
Good verbal presentation skills
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to develop exciting furniture 3D forms
Awareness of international furniture and product design trends
3d computer skills:
Ability to manage time effectively
Manage multiple projects that meet budget and time
constraints
Should be a good team member to collaborate
effectively with design, engineering, marketing
professionals and clients
2D Graphic design presentation skills
Art direct professional photographers and undertake digital photographic documentation
