Sydney Harbour BridgeAn special illuminated in-road cats eye was developed and placed along the centerlines of the six lanes. These were switched several times per day to mark the changing line of traffic direction. Design problems included vibration, shortening lamp life, hydraulic pressure of water on rainy days and regulations concerning bridge modifications.
