Harbour Bridge Traffic Management SystemCuredale managed the development of the in-road traffic management system used on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. An special illuminated in-road cats-eye was developed for the centerlines of the six lanes that are switched in unison several times per day to mark the changing line of traffic direction. Design problems included vibration, shortening lamp life, hydraulic pressure of water on rainy days and regulations concerning bridge modifications.
